Copenhagen Instagrammable locations

Copenhagen has some remarkable photo spots, so believe me when I say it’s almost impossible to create a top of the most instagrammable locations.

If you are planning a short trip to Copenhagen and you want to find the insta-worthy places, I got you! I’ve put together the ultimate photo guide for you to make the most of your Copenhagen city break.

Here are my top five instagrammable locations and photography spots

5. Nyhavn

Nyhavn is a beautiful and colorful waterfront district. It is a historical place and one of the most touristic locations.
We visited the place twice. The first time at night – when we took a long walk to see the beautiful night view of Nyhavn.
The second time during the day – as we took a boat tour and stopped by the Nyhavn waterfront to take some photos.

4. Church of our Saviour

This is one of the most unique churches I’ve ever visited. The interiors are stunning, and the helix spire offers 360° views over the entire city. In my opinion, one of the coolest photo locations in Copenhagen.

3. Tivoli Gardens

Have fun, and take the most amazing photos outdoors. We visited Copenhagen in autumn, and this place is one of the most instagrammable photo spots for Halloween. The Tivoli gardens were beautifully decorated for the season.

2. Christianborg Palace

A must-see photo spot in Copenhagen, the interiors are absolutely breathtaking; I promise you will take the most breathtaking photos here. Check out my other post to see the photos we took at the Christianborg Palace.

1. Rosenborg Palace

I have to admit – it was pretty tough choosing the top one. Still, the Rosenborg Palace has everything for the perfect photoshoot and makes my favorite instagrammable location in Copenhagen: the gardens are flawlessly groomed, the castle has a fairytale-like appearance, and all the artefacts are literally art pieces.

We spent four days in Copenhagen, and chose a central location in the heart of Copenhagen at the Zleep Hotel.

We also purchased the Copenhagen card, which saved us lots of money on transport and entrances.
