Okay, I’ll admit it! 2020 has not been our year yet. If you’re here, you most probably want to take a deep breath of fresh air during all the Covid19 noise, which does not seem to have an end in the near future.
In ambiguous times like these, we finally become aware of how little control we have – the truth is, we don’t have any. And that’s okay. I remember taking a course on visual storytelling, where they taught us that the greatest stories are those told in times of unpredictability and doubt.
Uncertainty is the secret ingredient that makes movies entertaining and life beautiful.
On the flip side, uncertainty makes us worry because it suggests that things can get worse, rather than better. And how else should we feel? We get bombarded daily by disturbing, toxic news. We look in horror at the suffering of others, feeling more powerless than ever.
I do believe there is a serious situation going on, and I’m not trying to minimize its severity. I simply need a pause from all the negativity that’s constantly invading my feed and my thoughts.
